The Pantone colour prediction for next year
Designers, artists and brands around the world eagerly wait for the Pantone colour of the year, the ultimate forecast that influences everything from fashion, interiors and even packaging.
As somebody that works closely to design, colour and trends, I love watching how Pantone predictions shape the creative industries around the world.
This years Pantone colour : Mocha Mousse
This year's Pantone colour of the year is Mocha Mousse, this has been everywhere! From high end fashion houses such as Saint Laurent, to chic home decor collections.
I loved it that much I created a mural inspired by Mocha Mousse, blending natural tones, sieges and darker browns to add contrast.

This shade of brown has been very popular across interior design, trends, fashion influencers and branding palettes. The influencer Molly-Mae Hague who is known for her chic yet neutral wardrobe and beautifully styled home in Cheshire features this tone of brown throughout her social media.
Let's just say the Molly-Mae effect is real!
We don't know what the official Pantone colour of the year for 2026 is but I predict that we're going to see more pops of colour such as soft clays, blushes and ambers. The kind of colour palette you would see at a Chanel campaign or an elegant Chanel runway.
Let's just hope its not a McDonald's yellow (no offence to the French fries) we're hoping for something a little more chic and timeless.
Looking ahead
As we are heading into the new year, I'll be keeping a close eye on Pantone's predictions to see what directions colour takes next. Whether the trends lead towards muted pastels, dramatic tones or more tranquil neutrals, one thing is certain... colour continues and will always be how we design, decorate and express our creativity.
