About Me

Hey, I’m Louise Powers – the creative force behind Lousurfacepattern. Based in Cheshire, I specialise in crafting vibrant, handcrafted designs that infuse everyday items with joy and colour.  

My journey began at Leeds Arts University, where I earned a BA (Hons) in Printed Textiles & Surface Pattern Design. Fueled by a lifelong passion for colour and pattern, I launched Lousurfacepattern during the early days of lockdown. What started as a personal creative outlet has blossomed into a thriving studio offering a range of products, including homeware, stationery, accessories, and art prints, all adorned with bold, stylised patterns and a distinctive flair. 

Nature serves as my primary muse, inspiring me to create designs that are both playful and sophisticated. Each piece is thoughtfully painted, designed and handmade by me in my Cheshire studio, ensuring a unique touch in every item.
